I can quote the review of this title at allmusic.com which says " One has to be in the mood for this stuff, but there are times when a little sugar is exactly what the world needs. There’s a big-sized dose here."
The title "Sugar Pop Classics" surely lives up to its promise. Also the "Hard To Find 45's" prefix delivers, since many tracks on this cd are indeed hard to find on cd compilations, let alone on cd reissues of the artist. For instance, the song "Montego Bay" has its single debut on cd here!
Or take the song "1900 Yesterday" for instance, is only available on a compilation of the White Whale label.

I have many cd's from Eric Records and if I had to sum up why, it is the sound quality, the amount of tracks and the booklet (track/artist info). All are of the best quality, so even if you already have some compilations that have a particular track that is also on this volume, once you have it on an Eric Record cd you can be confident you have it in the best (master) sound quality available!
