User reviews
Not one of the premier league psych/garage punk comps going. This one has a strange mix of great mid '60s teen punkers and a load of late '60s lumpy hard rock/post-psych music. Some are even later - the Mijal & White track is from 1973 (and it's called I've Been You, not I'm In You - funnily enough the same mistake turns up on a later comp Turds On a Bum Ride which makes me think that they used this as a master for the TOABR record a few years later).
The sound quality isn't very good on this CD. Bootlegs of bootlegs or mastered from cassette - that type of thing.

The problem with this compilation is that - back in 1983 and 1984 when the vinyl editions came out - it was all fresh then and, apart from the original 60s vinyl, this was the only way to hear these tracks. Well - we've moved on since those days and many of these tracks (if not all of them) appear in better quality on other compilations.
If you saw it for £5 then it would be a reasonable bargain. £15 - not so much.
Wow, I have both volumes on vinyl, but they are not listed here, I will get around to putting up the info.
