Mine is not hadnstamped with a number, anybody else got the same?
Really remarkable B side (damn I love that TD edit !), reminds of the first realease of the series, just perfect for trance chillin' this summer ;-)
Not impressed with this one, trying to make good on a Judge Jules track would be a tall order for any edit/remixer,dripping with cheese, avoid
The pitchin re-edit is pretty useless imo. The og was a lot better. This one just stretches it out a lot without any of the things that made the og good. The way they did the synth & drums on the og was perfect, here it just falls very flat unfortunately, especially with the relatively boring 4/4 beat that doesn’t change much.
still limiting this series is total senseless, professional sellers just buy all stock to sell them instantly at 400% of the original price.
These are, to my knowledge, unlicensed edits / remixes. I think they are erring on the side of caution by not pressing too many. It's not worth a label's time to sue Trance Wax over 600 records
Yes it's annoying... even with pre-order, I couldn't secure a copy, now I hope someone will sell the record at a reasonable price... and I feel like everybody's losing in the deal : Ejeca and the label (they could make more), the first line shops (selling it at a normal price, they could make more), us (we have to spend a lot on inflated prices) ; the only winners are sharks :-(
yes i know what you mean, I have buy this tw for the first time for a normal shop price.some sellers make preorder instant buys (redeye uk or hmv) it’s limited - that is one reason why the Series is so rar and success. be fast and look look look if the release is announced :)
some normal people like buy them too to play and keep.
Some words about this tw release. First, the b-side is amazing, stella is a true trance classic and a good choice to do a edit. Also the Second track. both are what I associated with the tw series.about the (terrible) a side, especially the first track. I don’t understand why ejeca choose such cheap and bad Originals like this hi-gate waste. The edit is not good, cheap sounds, bad arrangement, uncreative synths and and and. It’s a work of one hour to produce this waste edit. In the decade from 90-00 hundreds of trance classic we’re releases and pls, pls think before you beginn with a new edit about this words next time. trance and trance are not the same :)5 stars for the bside 1 (trackb) for the aside.
Note that the vinyl has some black lines (wave like) going through the vinyl, looks amazing with the orange!
Anybody else's copy slightly warped? Went back to swap it and all the store's copies were the same to varying degrees.
A tiny bit warped, but it's not very noticeable and doesn't affect play
My copy arrived today and I have to say no - it is not warped at all. But sound could be a bit better imo. Overall sound feels a bit squashed. I guess it‘s okay for a DJ tool, but 90s wax One for example sounds much better.edit: Okay, my bad - on further listening it seems that this kind of lo-fi sound is part of the deal - maybe to add some 90s lofi sampler gritiness.
A1 is Hi Gate - PitchinA2 is CM - Dream UniverseB1 is maybe Jam & Spoon - Stella (?)
B2 is Tangerine Dream's "Love On A Real Train" from Risky Business OST
